Over 5,000 cyclists cross the Hawthorne Bridge daily for

This Skate Park located under the
Burnside Bridge was originally built by skateboarders
without the cities permission but was so successful it

This is Portland's most popular
bookstore. It occupies an entire city block and is the
world's largest independent New & Used Book store. |

MT HOOD
Only 50 miles form Portland, Mt
Hood's snow covered peak rises 11,249 feet and is home
to twelve glaciers. It's the fourth highest in the
Cascade Range. It provides for some of the best Mountain
biking and skiing in the Northwest USA. |

Portland is the home to some of the
finest beers in the world. We have more microbreweries
then any other city in the United States. |

Portland is home to the Portland
Trailblazer's NBA basketball team. Games are held at the

The zoo is located only two miles
from downtown Portland. The zoo has over 200 species of
animals, including Polar Bears. It is also home to the
most successful elephant-breeding program in the world.
